The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens is Australia's second oldest botanic garden (est 1828) and is an outstanding cool climate botanic garden. The Gardens is located on the Queens Domain approximately 2 km from the heart of Hobart. This 13.5 hectare property overlooking wonderful vistas of the River Derwent is dominated by the largest public collection of mature conifers in the Southern Hemisphere. |
