Windsor Castle To the west of London is Windsor Castle which remains the largest and oldest inhabited (over 900 years) castle in the world. As one of the official residences of the Queen, it frequently hosts State visits. St. George's Hall, magnificently repaired after a devastating fire in 1992, is where State banquets are held. The castle is also home to great art including works by Rembrandt and Rubens, and to Queen Mary's Dolls House that occupies an entire room. |
