Snowdonia National Park - the North

This 840-square-mile national park covers a large area, so it is split into two. The northern part is dominated by Snowdon, at 1,085m (3,560ft) the highest mountain in England and Wales. Snowdonia's rugged landscape attracts serious walkers and climbers, drawn to the challenge of a true mountain environment and the fearsome rock faces of the Llanberis Pass.
