In the 1920 census, Harry was 31 years old, born in Pennsylvania.  Both his parents were born in Pennsylvania.  He was living with his wife, 3 daughters, mother-in-law and her 3 children, at 28 Division street, Kingston, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.  He was working as a cutter in a book binding store.  He owned his home free of mortgage.

World War II Draft registration card, 27 Apr 1942:  Harry Cecil was 54 years old, born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.  Birth date was 17 Dec 1887.  He was living R.D. 1, Turtle Creek, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.  He was working for Westinghouse Electric and MFG Co., Trafford, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.  Myrtle Mekeel was person identified who will know his address.

Harry Cecil Mekeel married Jennie Hope on 17 Feb 1908.  Jennie Hope was born on 17 Aug 1888 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  Her parents were Charles Hope (b. Feb 1863-d.??) and Katherine Evans (b. 1864- d. ??); born her parents were born in Wales.  Her parents were married on 21 Oct 1886.  Jennie Hope died on 8 Feb 1927 in Lehman, Pennsylvania.
